Lulu Hassan

Lulu Hassan is a popular media personality who works for Citizen TV as a news anchor.

Hassan and her husband Rashid Abdalla co-host the prime-time edition of Citizen TV’s swahili news bulletin Nipashe Wikendi on Saturdays.

She is one of the most polished journalists and news anchors in the country.

Jamila Mohamed

She is the Managing Editor at Citizen TV. She previously managed the Programming and Content Development division at Nation Media Group and also served as News Editor, News Anchor/Reporter at NTV. 

Also served as Managing Editor QTV Kenya in 2015. 

Jamila graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Media Studies at the University of Nairobi (UoN)

She also holds a Master’s degree in International Conflict Management from the UoN. 

Akisa Wandera

Akisa Wandera started her career at Korea  Owned GBS TV Station before joining Ebru TV from March 2014 where she was a News Anchor and presenter of  Tabletalk TV Show.

She later joined Kenya Television Network KTN and made her debut on Prime Time News in March 2016  when she was introduced to the viewers by a co-host Ben Kitili.

Akisa Wandera studied at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication in  Nairobi from 2010 and graduated in 2013. 

Fred Indimuli

Fred Indimuli is a TV presenter at Citizen TV

He worked as an Online Editor at Radio Africa, he also worked with News Editor at Radio Africa Group Ltd.

He has also worked as a TV and Radio editor at  Kiss TV.

Fred has over 12 years in Kenyan media.

He is a creative writer with a knack for current affairs as well as a team leader in content generation and communication management.

Ken Wariahe

Ken Wariahe is a TV anchor who began his career at Standard Group in 2009 and would later move to the Nationa Media Group (NMG) in 2012.

He would later move from NMG in 2016 to join K24 as a Swahili anchor.

Ahmed Juma Bhalo

Ahmed Juma Bhalo is a Kiswahili anchor and reporter at K24.

He is a rising star in the Kenya news business.

He started off at the media house in 2011 as a trainee where he anchor after a week on the job.

He worked at K24 for two years before being laid off during a mass retrenchment on August 8th, 2013.

He was later offered a job at KBC as a Kiswahili reporter. He did that for a year and then moved back to K24 to serve as a Kiswahili news anchor.

Mwanaisha Chidzuga

Mwanaisha Chidzuga is a TV anchor who has gained respect from her peers for her strong command of the Swahili language.

Ms Chidzuga rose to the top of her field as an anchor for KTN Leo Wikendi  after which she joined K24 in 2015.

She is also an entrepreneur with a keen interest in hospitality. She is the CEO for Arryannas Swahili Cuisine Restaurants as well as the Founder of the mobile beauty salon app, Mobi-Glam.

Yussuf Ibrahim

Yussuf Ibrahim is a news anchor and reporter who started his career in radio. He reported for Hot 96 before scaling up to Citizen TV.

From there he gained prominence at K24 before making his debut at KTN News in 2017.

He studied Broadcast Media at the University of Nairobi and is married to Ramla Abass.
