How Police Allegedly Covered Up Pastor's Involvement in Limuru Accident
Reports show that police officers covered up the involvement of Pastor James Ng’ang’a in the accident along the Nakuru-Nairobi highway that killed Mercy Njeri and seriously injured her husband.
The unanswered questions surrounding the fatal accident in Tigoni area of Kiambu nearly two weeks ago, resulted in public outcry after witness accounts placed the pastor at the scene of the accident yet police said he was not involved.
New evidence now shows that the Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinett could have been duped into covering up the accident.

In a report on The Nation, evidence shows that the pastor is usually illegally escorted by senior police officers during his trips outside Nairobi and even has police officers for bodyguards, despite not officially being assigned any.
Inspector Christopher Nzuli Nzioka of the Kenya Police Airwing was identified as one of his escorts and was reportedly in the car with the pastor when the accident occurred.
According to NTV, documents were also forged to support the pastor's claims that he was not involved.
In what has shocked many, revealing the depravity of the situation, telephone calls from Tigoni Police station showing the pastor's involvement were also erased.
The report handed over to the IG questioned why the officers hurriedly released the Range Rover to the owner after the accident, even before the driver was charged.
The investigators who had been sent by Boinett to re-investigate the accident described the entire handling of the case as suspicious.

This comes even as the victim, Mercy Njeri was buried yesterday at her home in Limuru.
Citizen Tv reports that the family of the deceased faulted Boinett for the cover up, insisting that they must be given justice as soon as possible.
Several MPs were among leaders who attended the burial, where they asked that the pastor be arrested and prosecuted, K24 reports.
