Saida Swaleh

Saida Swaleh alijiunga na KTN Aprili 2011. Saida ni mahafala wa shahada ya Mawasiliano na Uandishi Habari, chuo kikuu cha Nairobi . Uanahabari ni kazi aliyoisomea kwa hima na sasa amefanikiwa kuwa mwanabari anayebobea haswa katika uandaaji makala.

Saida amepata tuzo nyingi tangu kujiunga na KTN. Anatambulika katika kuangazia maswala ya afya, hasa ya akina mama na watoto.

Nancy Kacungira

Nancy Kacungira joined KTN as a news anchor in December 2013. She began her media career as a radio presenter while still in University, working her way up from intern to Deputy Program Director by the time she received her first class degree. Nancy thereafter earned her Master of Arts degree in Communication Studies from the University of Leeds, where she graduated with distinction.

In 2010 Nancy co-founded Blu Flamingo; a digital media management company in Uganda that continues to grow online brand presence for several clients.

Najma Ismael

Najma Ismael started out at Iqra FM where she worked as a news anchor and reporter, later on she joined Sound Asia FM. Her big break came in 2006 when she was employed by Radio Africa as a news anchor and reporter for Classic 105 and Kiss 100. Seven years later she got another big break when KTN hired her as a news anchor/reporter a position she is currently holding.

One of her best moments on air was when doing features on ‘KTN Job Center’. She got to change the lives of several youth by giving them a national platform to get employment.

Michael Gitonga

Michael’s career in media started off as an “accident”. The first person to interview him as a radio host told him that radio was not for him. The comment just fueled him to keep trying because he had a passion for it .

He went on to host the breakfast show on Radio 316 (Mike on the mic)which he did for over 10 years. He then joined KTN as co-host of the “Morning Express” with Sophia Wanuna from 6am to 9am Monday to Friday. The transition from radio to TV has been exciting for him.

Mashirima began reporting and presenting in both English and Kiswahili on radio in 2009 at Shine FM (Daystar University’s Radio station). 

Mary Kilobi

Mary Kilobi was born on 16th July 1984. She is from Bungoma County in Western Kenya.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Literature and Kiswahili) from Makerere University. She is currently working with Standard Group Limited as a news Anchor/ Reporter with KTN.

Before Joining Kenya`s leading television, Mary worked as a Producer/Editor/ Anchor with Uganda Broadcasting corporation (UBC) for four years.

Lynne Wachira

Lynne Wachira is a sports reporter and anchor who joined KTN in October 2013. She is a lover of all things sports with track and field as the first love. She was honored as the 2011 athletics journalist of the year by the country’s governing body, Athletics Kenya. She was awarded the dedication and consistency award due to her track and field coverage in 2012.

Wachira holds a diploma in Mass Communication and Journalism from the Mombasa Polytechnic University as well as a diploma in Olympics and Olympic Education from the International Olympic academy, Greece.

Lofty Matambo

Lofty Matambo alijiunga na KTN mwishoni mwa mwaka wa 2013.

Awali mwaka wa 2013 alikuwa mtayarishi msaidizi na mwelekezi wa makala ya kipindi cha Tazama chini ya shirika la Media Development in Africa (MEDEVA) yaliyokuwa yakipeperushwa kwa runinga ya KTN. Alipata fursa ya kuzuru kaunti mbali mbali nchini kama vile Garissa, Kilifi, Kwale, Lamu, Marsabit na nyenginezo.

Alikuwa pia mtangazaji wa kujitolea wa kipindi cha Tumaini Maishani cha nyimbo za injili katika kituo cha Pwani FM, Mombasa mwaka wa 2012

Joe Ageyo

Joe Ageyo is the Managing Editor at KTN. 

He holds an MSc in Environmental Governance from the University of Manchester, a Bachelor of Agribusiness Management from Egerton University, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication from the University of Nairobi, and a certificate in Advanced Studies in Environmental Diplomacy from the University of Geneva, Switzerland. 

He joined KTN in the year 2000 as a general news reporter, but his work has focused on environmental stories.
