Jubilee Party Officials Hold Secret Meeting to Tame National Super Alliance (NASA) Principal Kalonzo Musyoka’s

Jubilee Party officials have intensified campaigns in a secret plot to wrestle National Super Alliance (NASA) principal Kalonzo Musyoka’s voting block to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s camp.

According to a local daily, a team of professionals, businessmen, top and middle-level government officers and a breakaway Kamba council of elders were holding secret meetings in Ukambani.

The source revealed that the Jubilee administration’s scheme was funded by a wealthy businessman, Peter Muthoka, who on Thursday flew to Kitui and Mwingi towns with National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi.

The two leaders reportedly held closed-door meetings with locals after they landed in two choppers at St Joseph’s Seminary in Mwingi and were immediately driven away in police vehicles.

The two were taken to a local hotel that had been cordoned off by AP officers in which the media was also strictly barred.

Mwingi Central Deputy County Commissioner David Rotich while kicking the media out reiterated that the meeting was a private affair.

“You cannot go in, it is a private meeting. For the sake of peace, please stay away because I don’t want quarrels with him (Muthoka),” pleaded Rotich.

In the meeting, a source told the Daily that local administration officers such as chiefs had been tasked to mobilise supporters for Jubilee.

“Each of us (Chiefs) had been tasked to mobilise 60 people from every ward; women, men and the youth,” revealed the source.

He added that they had been promised huge perks if they deliver votes to Jubilee and would directly act as agents at the coming polls.

“We swore allegiance to Jubilee and he told us we had now become its agents. He directed each of us to bring on board at least 100 people and promised to pay us directly for a good job done,” added the source.
