Ababu Namwamba Reveals Raila's Criminal Charges

Former Budalangi Member of Parliament Ababu Namwamba has assigned criminal liability for the violence in the country to ODM party leader Raila Odinga.

In his capacity as Chairman of the Council of Kenyan Professionals (CKP), Mr Namwamba declared that his former party chief is solely responsible for the ethnic profiling witnessed in parts of the country.

"The council calls on Kenyans to resist the pressure to profile a specific community in this republic instead, blame and criminal liability should be directed to one and only one person and that is Raila Odinga and his National Resistance Movement," the former legislator accused.

He further called for peace in the country accusing political forces of facilitating violence through hired gangs.

"We call for peace in those few isolated parts of the country where political goons and hired militia have been hired to cause mayhem.

"We strongly condemn the ongoing exportation of violence in areas which voted peacefully," he declared.

Namwamba and his team have been on a mission to engage the African Union (AU) and other international bodies to charge Mr Odinga with threatening the stability of Kenya.
