Businessman Bundotich Kiprop ‘Buzeki’ on Sunday asked NASA leader Raila Odinga to retire in peace as Kenyans owe him nothing.
Mr. Kiprop, a contender in the Uasin Gishu gubernatorial seat in the just concluded August election discouraged the Opposition leader against plans to conduct a parallel ceremony when President Uhuru Kenyatta will be sworn-in.
"The swearing-in of a President is respected globally and if Raila will interrupt it, he deserves to be dealt with properly," he declared at a church service in Kuresoi.

Mr. Kiprop advised NASA leader to spare Kenyans the agony, go home and leave the citizens to chart their destiny.
"We owe him nothing in his twenty years of seeking the Presidency. He should now spare us and retire in peace," he stated.
He mentioned that Kenyans have been rallying behind the Opposition leader since 1997, and following his unsuccessful attempts to clinch the Presidency, it is time he let go.
‘Buzeki’ acknowledged the contributions made by NASA leader towards democratic gains in the country and advised Odinga to exit the scene in an honorable way.
He challenged the Opposition leader to emulate him for conceding defeat to Governor Jackson Mandago.
"We encountered losses and therefore, cannot allow any individual to mess up with country's economy," Mr. Kiprop added on the prolonged political season that has been costly for business.
