National Super Alliance (NASA) Chief Strategist David Ndii on Thursday expressed his thoughts on President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto following his arrest earlier this week.
According to Mr Ndii, the President and his deputy are "cowards who are hiding behind the state powers" given to them under the Constitution.
In a tweet, the NASA strategist further challenged the duo to cease using the state machinery to silence Opposition leaders and face them head-on.

In the same series of tweets, Mr Ndii also unveiled that he was treated with respect by Police officers while in custody.
"They were civil and respectful, they were just following orders," he replied to a tweet probing whether he was tortured by the officers.

He was arrested on Sunday night at Leopard Beach Hotel in Kwale County and was taken to Diani Police Station.
He was in the company of his wife Mwende Gatabaki and daughter.
Police stated that he was being probed for incitement to violence but he was later released on a Sh10,000 bond as ordered by DPP Keriako Tobiko.
Meanwhile, according to political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi, NASA leader Raila Odinga was using Dr Ndii to gain political mileage adding that the strategist was naive and would suffer the consequences.
“David Ndii is being naive with his braggadocio. His wife should not talk about under-clothes on TV. The couple is being used by foxy Baba," Mutahi stated in a tweet.
