Musalia Mudavadi Discloses What Jubilee Offered Him to Ditch NASA

National Super Alliance NASA co-principal Musalia Mudavadi on Friday disclosed that the Jubilee government had offered him a government position to leave the Opposition.

Speaking during an interview, he confirmed that some officials within Jubilee had approached him with the promise of a state job.

Nonetheless, Mr Mudavadi expressed his disinterest in the offer clarifying that he is committed to the NASA's agenda in reforming the country.

"It's not in the cards nor table, I am the founder member of NASA, and it's a household name whose values I believe in, if there are any issues, we will solve them within NASA," he explained in an interview with KTN.

Regarding his political ambitions,  he divulged that his name would be on the presidential ballot during the 2022 general election.

"My ambitions remain, I have never denied that I want to serve this county as the President of the People of Kenya. If they want me to do so, that can be actualized in a free and fair electoral process," he stated.

He,however, clarified that at the moment he is focused on the reforms instituted by the Opposition led by Raila Odinga.

He further took a swipe at President Uhuru Kenyatta for refuting the calls for talks immediately he took an oath of office as the President.

"Those who told Uhuru to make a statement that anyone willing to discussing anything to address William Ruto should know that it was a very unfortunate and reckless statement," he stated.
