Mwingi Central Member of Parliament MP Gideon Mulyungi on Saturday stated that Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka would win the 2022 presidential race without endorsement from the National Super Alliance (NASA).
He indicated that the Wiper party would support Mr Kalonzo for the top job even if he does not get support and blessings from NASA leader Raila Odinga.
“Kalonzo has asked for this seat for a long time. We’ll support him to be the flagbearer in a coalition that will be formed. If there will be no coalition, Kalonzo is man enough to run alone.
"Kalonzo is man enough to run alone. He will win. All Kambas will support him, even those who defected as there will be no option,” he conveyed.

The NASA MP also blamed Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leaders for the major disputes within the Opposition.
He noted that the leaders are fond of controlling most activities and decisions within the Raila Odinga led coalition.
The legislator further warned that Wiper would ditch the alliance if the ODM politicians do not cease the habit.
Mr Mulyungi divulged that the fact that ODM has taken up all top leadership seats in House committees has angered its affiliates.
He also predicted that NASA is headed for a major split if necessary action is not taken to end the internal disagreements within the alliance.
