Isaac Ruto Promises to Support Governor Joyce Laboso's Administration

Former Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto who has been away from the public sphere resurfaced over the weekend and promised to work with Governor Joyce Laboso in achieving her goals for the people of the county.

Speaking during a prize giving day for best performers at Chelsea Academy, the ex-governor noted that he would not interfere with Laboso's plan for the next 5 years.

He promised to assist the new administration in discharging its mandate and ensuring that Bomet becomes a better place.

“I wish to state here in broad daylight that I will not sabotage your administration in any way. Rest assured that I will offer you my support whenever and wherever I can in rolling out development agenda to benefit the people of Bomet County.

“The support I have offered for President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto’s government is the same I will accord you (Laboso) as the Governor,” he stated.

He, however, did not make any announcements regarding his political ambitions or what he has been up to.

The ex-governor has been off the limelight ever since he vowed to work with President Kenyatta's team during the repeat election.

Last year, Ruto shocked many Kenyans when he ditched the National Super Alliance (NASA) where he was a coalition Principal and joined President Kenyatta's team.

"Today I have returned (to) where I belong.
