Musalia Mudavadi No Longer Luhya Spokesman - Francis Atwoli

Amani National Congress(ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi has been dethroned from his position as the Luhya spokesman.

Central Organisation of Trade Unions (COTU) Secretary General Francis Atwoli on Friday categorically asserted that he had discharged Mudavadi as the Luhya community spokesman after he did not show up during the 'swearing in' of Raila Odinga on January 30.

Atwoli stated that he will never offer his support to Musalia again since he abandoned Odinga in his 'hour of need.'

"I want to register my dissappointment and displeasure with Mudavadi. At no time will i ever support him, " he affirmed.

Speaking to mourners during the burial of human rights activist Ken Wafula in Likuyani constituency, Atwoli urged the Luhyas to forgive him for choosing Mudavadi to be their mouthpiece.

Atwoli endorsed Mudavadi during as the community's spokesperson in December 2016, during a Luhya ceremony.

"A person who aspires to be president should not be afraid of anything. We expect him to rally behind Odinga but he chickened out, " he exclaimed.

However, Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula - who is also a NASA principal - declared that Mudavadi and himself are fully behind Odinga.
