Nick Salat Accuses Uhuru of Betraying Gideon Moi

Kenya African National Union (KANU) Secretary General, Nick Salat, on Friday disclosed how President Uhuru Kenyatta betrayed Baringo Senator Gideon Moi.

According to Salat, the Head of State has failed to fulfill all the promises he assured the KANU party of.

The former Bomet county senatorial aspirant accused the Jubilee administration of sideling the independent party in government appointments.

According to Salat, KANU fulfilled its end of the bargain as it ensured the re-election of President Kenyatta and his deputy in both the August 8 and October 26 elections.

"We were faithful and we will remain to be so. Even though they forgot to give us slots in the recent appointments, we will continue to be faithful," asserted Salat.

Emurua Dikirr MP Johana K Ng'eno, also complained that a section of influential Jubilee leaders pushed for the filing of a petition against his win, claiming that they are undermining his leadership.

Ng'eno affirmed that he personally spoke to the President and he does not understand why a Jubilee candidate contested his election despite his agreement between the two parties to work together.

"KANU will seek new partners in the 2022 election, " affirmed Johana.

On Wednesday, Kenyans on social media stated that Gideon Moi had found his 2022 running mate after he posted photos of a meeting he had with Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua.

Mutua commented that the duo was discussing "the future of Kenya".

Both leaders have previously expressed their desire to run for President in 2022.
