Uasin Gishu Members of the County Assembly on Thursday afternoon brought proceedings to a standstill after their colleague unleashed complex English that some of them could not comprehend.
Nominated MCA Jenny Too was forced to stop her speech after another MCA faulted her for using difficult English words while addressing them.
Kipkenyo Ward Representative Hillary Rono raised an issue with Ms Too's speech, arguing that she was engaging in a monologue that "many of them did not understand what she was saying."
"Your choice of words has left many of us floating.The speech is very complex.Kindly tone down to so that you may have us on board," Mr Rono complained.

Speaker David Kiplagat was forced to intervene to reduce the tension during the county assembly session.
Meanwhile, the Eldoret-based MCAs have also been put o the spot over reports that the members had not passed any bill touching on the lives of residents.
Huruma MCA Peter Chomba admitted to this but explained that they were focussed on passing legislation that was beneficial to the residents.
"It is true that we are yet to pass even a single bill but we are in the process of doing that.
"There is no need to rush and pass bills that are not going to benefit our people.We are working tirelessly as a House and very soon you will see things start rolling," he stated.
