Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula Set to be Replaced as Luhya Kingpins

Lawyer Nelson Havi on Saturday issued a scathing attack on NASA co-principals Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula, calling them cowards who are not fit to represent the Luhya region.

Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, Havi stated that plans were underway to replace the two and ODM will soldier on alone.

"Wetangula and Mudavadi are cowards who are not fit to represent the Luhya community.

"Edward Sifuna, Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala, advocate Norman Magaya and I will take over Luhya leadership.

"We will move on without ANC and Ford Kenya as ODM will conglomerate and deliberate on the way forward," he stated.

Earlier, Havi declared that he had been tasked to 'disarm' the two and was solely behind Raila Odinga's historic meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

"As the Military Commander of the Western Command, I have been tasked to disarm Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula and take over leadership.

"That is how it shall be, henceforth," he declared.

Mudavadi came out on Saturday to state that he was not aware of the talks and was never consulted.

He expressed concern that Odinga's meeting with Uhuru might be a PR stunt and maintained he would not relent in his quest for social justice.

His response came a day after Wetangula stated Odinga had questions to answer following the meeting.

“My colleagues and I from NASA will get an explanation from Raila on why he took the step he took; and why he had a meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta without our knowledge.

“I, as Wetangula and the leader of Ford Kenya and Senate Minority Leader, was not in the know," he was quoted by Citizen.
