ODM - Wiper Engage in Twitter Brawl

The tensions in the National Super Alliance have escalated further after Wiper Movement and the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) engaged in lash out.

This followed a move by the ODM that saw the party make good their threat to oust Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula and replaced him with Siaya Senator James Orengo as the Senate Minority Leader.

Wiper warned ODM party of tough consequences following what they termed as "crossing the red line" and undermining the fabric that founded NASA Coalition.

Protesting the move that the NASA affiliate parties including Ford Kenya termed an ODM agenda, Wiper cautioned that the removal of Wetangula was unacceptable.

On its part, ODM party hit back at NASA using a sarcastic "rolling eyes" gif after Wiper indicated that it would not be business as usual.

Musalia Mudavadi had on Tuesday termed the move as an attempt to intimidate Wetangula while Kiminini MP Chris Wamalwa threatened that the move by ODM would attract drastic repercussions.

Wamalwa further argued that ODM was trying to sideline other affiliate parties by taking up all positions reserved for the Opposition both in Parliament and the Senate.

The internal wrangles within the Opposition outfit were revealed last week when Raila Odinga failed to accompany other NASA principles on a campaign vote hunt.

Raila has been accused of betrayal by his co-principals after he chose to make a deal with President Uhuru Kenyatta without their knowledge.

ODM party chairman  John Mbadi has however denied these allegations claiming his party was a victim of bullying by the affiliate parties.
