The subject "Deputy Governor" was one of the trending topics as business enthusiasts discussed the postponed retirement of Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) deputy governor Sheila M'mbijiwe.
CBK governor Patrick Njoroge gazetted that she would continue working with the bank despite having attained retirement age until her contract is terminated, an allowance guaranteed by the law.

The Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) topped the Google trending topics of the day as Kenyans conducted over 2,000 searches of the topic on the search engine.
The hospital was on the spot once again after news broke of another botched surgery that was conducted at the facility.
A woman who underwent a cesarian section at the hospital allegedly lost part of her large intestine and only found out the surgery had gone wrong after unbearable pain in her abdomen area.
