Boni Khalwale Calls on Uhuru, Ruto to End Miguna Miguna Saga

Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale on Wednesday tore into President Uhuru Kenyatta, DP William Ruto and Interior CS Fred Matiang'i over the latest Miguna Miguna saga.

Khalwale questioned why the three were frustrating Miguna yet they know he is a legitimate Kenyan.

"Can u quickly bring to an immediate end this CHILDISH drama of Miguna!

"If it is not in doubt that u guys come from Gatundu, Sugoi & Nyamira respectively, what makes u doubt the fact that a woman in Ahero gave birth to Miguna? Rubbish!" wrote Khalwale on his Twitter page.

Miguna is still locked at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) after his arrival on Monday afternoon.

Immigration officials maintained that he has to fill citizenship forms to be allowed to move freely, a move that did not go down well with his lawyers.

Khalwale also bashed Miguna's legal team calling them drama queens.

"Dear Kenyans, honestly this knife cuts both ways! Miguna’s lawyers are also drama queens.

"Otherwise, having travelled on his Canadian P/P, he should’ve just produced it for stamping & thereafter his lawyers move to court for reinstatement of his Kenyan P/P. Simple," he added.

Elsewhere, High Court Judge George Odunga on Wednesday ordered CS Matiang'i to appear in person at the Milimani Law Courts at 2:30 p.m.

He further ordered Immigration Principal Secretary Gordon Kahalangwa, Inspector General Joseph Boinnet and the Attorney General to appear as well in connection with Miguna's case.

"I will not accept affidavits or people coming to stand here in their place. They have to appear before me at 2.30pm in person," ordered Odunga.
