The keen eyes of the detectives were, however, attracted by the man's clothes which resembled of the man captured in the video.

On interrogation, the man is said to have confessed to have participated in the attack against Ndambiri that was captured on camera and shared across social media.

The Deputy Governor had on Wednesday reported the matter at Thika Police Station where he recorded a statement.

Ndambiri told the media that he was kidnapped, tortured and forced to recite the things he said on the explicit viral film.

Members of Parliment (MP) led by Majority Deputy Whip Cecily Mbarire on Wednesday told Ndambiri that he should have fought back the people recording him after allegedly being caught with someone’s wife.

“It should be known whether it is a matter of a leader who has played around with his integrity or a matter of extortionists,” Mbarire stated.
