Miguna Miguna Alleges Raila Odinga Has Been Deceiving London Universities

National Resistance Movement (NRM-K) self-proclaimed general Miguna Miguna on Saturday alleged that National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga has been telling lies to his audiences during his several lecturers held at various Universities in London.

In an audio heard by Kenyans.co.ke, the Canada-based barrister divulged that the Opposition leader, who has been in the United Kingdom giving lectures at Universities, has been misinforming people on the happenings that saw Miguna forcefully removed from the country.

According to Miguna, Mr Odinga has been "spreading scandalous falsehoods and unbelievable claims while in London."

He narrated that the former Prime Minister has been claiming that he (Miguna) booked a plane to travel to Canada, which is contrary to what happened.

"To take to the podium and state that I refused to re-enter the country is to be so cruel, it is unspeakable.

"It is as if Raila Odinga is saying, that I am responsible for having been abducted and having been detained incommunicado. That in fact, I detained myself. I forced myself into exile," Miguna exclaimed in the audio.

The outspoken lawyer further noted that it is "unspeakable" for a leader to speak in such a manner yet he (Raila) has also in the past been detained and exiled by a "rogue" government.

He also affirmed that Raila will not coerce him to join his illegitimate "handshake."

Odinga, who is a guest of Cambridge Union and Oxford Union, delivered lectures at Cambridge and Oxford Universities last Tuesday and Thursday.

He also held a meeting with UK Minister for Africa at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office on Wednesday.

Mr Odinga also met with Kenyans in the UK on Friday at the Greenwood Lecture Theatres of King’s College, London.
