The car is reported to have stalled a few metres away where the two occupants were removed and rushed to hospital where the woman died while being attended to.

A relative of the man told journalists the bullet that hit him on the shoulder also hit the woman in the chest, killing her instantly.

Tito, further maintained they had launched investigations into the incident even as the families of the man and woman complained that police had acted with eagerness to shoot.
