President Uhuru Asked to Involve Kalonzo Musyoka in War Against Corruption

President Uhuru Kenyatta was on Monday asked by Kilome Member of Parliament (MP) Thaddeus Nzambia to involve Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka in the fight against corruption.

According to Nzambia, Kalonzo is a neutral party in the ongoing sugar scandal where big names in both government and the Opposition had been mentioned.

The MP advised the president to consider appointing the Opposition leader in the efforts to fight corruption owing to the fact that some loyalists had proven to be using their position to embezzle public funds.

"Kenyans have had enough of this talk about corruption. Their eyes are now on Uhuru as mega corruption scandals pile up.

"Time is ripe for the President to join hands with Kalonzo, Raila, and others to slay this dragon. After the handshake, it is now clear who the names behind the shameless scandals are," the legislator stated.

MP Nzambia also called on Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu to act quickly to ensure the standards of health facilities within the county were improved.

"Something somewhere is not right. Most of our health facilities in the rural areas do not have sufficient health facilities to cater for the sick. In other words, some areas are marginalised," he observed.

Wiper party chairman and Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana over the weekend hinted that Ukambani leaders would side with the most likely to win candidate during the 2022 presidential campaign.

Governor Kibwana observed that the region had sided with the Opposition for 10 years and another ten would be present the political risk of being left out in the cold and falling to oblivion.

"We must be open for a coalition that is likely to form the next government so that we are part of the winning team.

"If we make another mistake it will be another 10 years in the political wilderness and that would mean total alienation from the Kenyan politics," he stated.
