Substituting the early morning show, Citizen has introduced Day Break that will be presented by Fred Indimuli and Joey Muthengi, who used to present power breakfast and will be joined by Waihiga Mwaura, who previously was part of the Citizen Extra team.
Willis Raburu, previously part of the morning show, is not included in the line up adding weight to reports that he is leaving the media house.

Citizen Extra will then, in turn, be replaced with a new segment 'SemaNaCitizen' which will be anchored by the 'star-studded dream team' that Citizen TV introduced to assert its continued dominance in the Swahili news category.
The team will feature Jamila Mohamed, Swaleh Mdoe, Mwashirima Kapombe, Mwanahamisi Hamadi, Nimrod Taabu together with Lulu Hassan and Rashid Abdalla.
Both shows, Day Break, and SemaNaCitizen have been scheduled to commence on Monday 23 July.
The two shows are structured to have a section that was wholly conducted in English and consisted majorly of panel discussions with political figures.
Following the massive changes that have been made by the station, for the first time in Kenya, Swahili anchor and presenter Lulu Hassan will now present Nipashe Wikendi alongside her husband Rashid Abdalla.
The couple will make their debut on Sunday, July 22.
