Citizen TV Introduces 7 New Features

Citizen TV has yet again announced seven fresh news features in what may seem to be a bid to stamp their continued dominance in the media industry.

Announcing the daily shows, Citizen insisted that "they have taken news reporting to a great new level."

The shows, which will each be airing during the 9 pm bulletin, is covered by a number of their journalists who will highlight varied issues that concern Kenyans.

According to a shared promotional trailer for the new shows,  Monday Special's anchor Anne Kiguta, who is popularly known for her political journalism prowess, will have a show that tells stories of "people who live them every day."

On Tuesday,  the television has introduced Frontline that will be presented by Hassan Mugambi.

Dennis Otieno will grace the Thursdays night bulletin by telling "inspiring tales of modern farming," on Smart Farm.

Daybreak morning show anchor Waihiga Mwaura will bring the public Below 30 segment that will explain issues affecting Kenya's growing youth population.

Celebrated journalist Victoria Rubadiri will tell "compelling stories" about different women, their strength and their everyday struggles during the Saturday bulletin.

Your Story segment will conclude the line up every Sunday with Wilkster Nyabwa.

These changes follow the abolishment of two of its news coverage shows, Power breakfast, and Citizen Extra

Substituting the early morning show, Citizen has introduced Day Break presented by Fred Indimuli, Waihiga Mwaura and Joey Muthengi.
