The Orange Democratic Movement Party leader Raila Odinga on Thursday met coast region leaders including Mombasa Deputy Governor William Kingi in Nyali.
The meeting was held during the ODM party leaders' housewarming party at his new home in Mombasa.
Photos of Kingi and Mr Odinga detailed the proceeds of the party on social media.

In the pictures, Mr Odinga's new palatial Nyali home is painted with Egyptian white and blue.
The colours are in line with the Mombasa County government's requirement that all houses in the central business district are painted blue and white.
After the party, the ODM leader was accompanied by Governor Joho to a late night meeting with President Kenyatta at the coast.
This is barely a week after Governor Joho declared to face off President Kenyatta's deputy in the run to the 2022 general elections.
Last week, Governor Joho dismissed DP Ruto's forays at the coast pledging to work with Baringo Senator Gideon Moi and other leaders in denying Ruto the presidency.
After the meeting, the President traveled to DP Ruto's Rift Valley backyard where he paid a courtesy call to the former president Daniel Moi at his Kabarak home.
Baringo Senator Gideon Moi received the President in Kabarak and was part of the meeting between President Kenyatta and Moi.
Details of the two meetings separated by just a few hours have remained scanty.

The President and his deputy later joined the family of ex-KDF deputy Lt General Joseph Kasaon in Nakuru during the burial of his wife.
The burial ceremony was the first public meeting attended by President Kenyatta and DP Ruto after several weeks marred with claims of rifts between the two leaders.
Kenyans.co.ke, however, noted that President Kenyatta and DP Ruto appeared uninterrupted by the fireworks within their party.
