King Kaka's 'Dundaing' Song Plays at NBA Game

Celebrated Kenyan rapper King Kaka's song was on Tuesday played in the US at the NBA game between Dallas Mavericks and Portland Trail Blazers.

In a video shared on social, King Kaka's song 'Dundaing' featuring Kristoff and Magix Enga is heard playing in the background as the two teams battle it out on the pitch.

Acknowledging the honour, King Kaka posted, "And we are NBA. We are Dundaing in the US. Marvs vs Por.

King Kaka applauded the Kenyan DJ who played the song noting, "Big up Poizon Ivy The DJ #EastlandoRoyalty".

In 2016, DJ Poizon Ivy born Ivy Awino got what is arguably the biggest break in her career after becoming the first female in-arena resident deejay for the Dallas Mavericks basketball team.

"It is definitely an honour and a dream come true. I am so grateful to God for the opportunity, which is truly a once-in-a-lifetime situation," DJ Poizon Ivy stated in an earlier interview with Daily Nation.

She expressed that she has always wanted to work in sports and entertainment adding that Mavs settled on her due to her knowledge and love for basketball.

"I have been a huge Mavs fan ever since I can remember. Like a die-hard #MFFL (Mavs Fan For Life) that is.

"It’s also just the icing on the cake that they are my hometown team as well! My US hometown," DJ Poizon Ivy stated.

Ivy became the first female deejay of the Mavericks and the second in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Terming the chance to produce the in-arena audio aesthetic for her favourite team as "living a dream", Ivy indicated that she is excited to make each Mavs game memorable for the fans in attendance.
