On Saturday afternoon, endeared Ugandan comedian, Anne Kansiime, caused ripples among an audience attending an East Africa’s Got Talent (EAGT) event in Nairobi when she humorously called Jeff Koinange to the stage.
The witty actress was tasked with the duty of announcing the judges of the premiering East African show, and when it came to the Citizen TV’s anchor’s turn, she took to it a notch higher.
“This man is a living monument. Those people you see walking around with confidence. A former CNN reporter. Imagine a CNN reporter, while some of you are reporting on Facebook,” Kansiime joked, as the audience roared into laughter.
“One of the most renowned media personalities in Kenya. Mr. Handsome, the one with swag. Oh my! When he walks in you will know he owns 56kg of swag. Jeff Koinange,” Kansiime marvelously called upon the award-winning journalist.
Jeff Koinange indeed walked onto the podium, into a warm embrace with the Ugandan comedian.
