Jubilee MP Wears School Uniform to Meeting

While launching projects, politicians or leaders usually dress up in preparation for the many glaring cameras and eyes.

However, a Jubilee Party woman representative decided to wear school uniform while donating attires to needy students.

On Friday, January 3, Meru Woman Representative, Kawira Mwangaza, via Facebook, stated that she would visit over 135 public primary schools, donating uniform to over 3,500 children.

"I thank Jehovah God for the opportunity to serve my people. I have been going around the entire Meru County mashinani. I have been meeting extremely poor school-going children (living with disabilities) facing many challenges, our kids are wearing tattered and torn beyond repair uniforms.

"God receive all the glory as l start my journey house to house, school to school, to meet my kids," Mwangaza stated.

On Friday, June 14, 2019, Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa while presiding over the opening of Darja Mbili Primary school in his constituency, wore a brown patched short, white shirt, a tie and walked barefoot.

He was allegedly dressed in this attire to depict the life of school-going children in the villages.

On Friday, October 11, President Uhuru Kenyatta also stunned students and parents at his alma mater, St Mary's School, after showing up to a function at the institution in full uniform.

In a white shirt, striped tie and navy blue blazer, the president walked in the school amid cheers from guests, parents and students, all who were in attendance.
