A man whose raunchy video having pleasure with a married woman went viral in early-April 2020, opened up and lamented that he was drugged, and disclosed how his wife had reacted to the fiasco that shocked many Kenyans.

In a report by the Standard on Friday, April 17, the man identified as Kibet, detailed that he regretted ever meeting the viral woman Harriet Scott, who claims to be a sex coach and therapist.

The viral man was part of a group of four men who were recorded in the raunchy video, and he was the one who was rushing to beat the 7 p.m. curfew to be with his wife.

"I was planning to rush to Kapsabet where my family is based. At that time, Harriet had confirmed she was coming with her husband (Kibet was to host the two at his Eldoret house). She arrived early in the afternoon with three men identifying two as Tony and Kim. Her husband was missing.

"It was a bit early so I organised for a meal as we caught up and shared drinks," Kibet detailed that the three men and Harriet, later on, tabled another drink in a plastic bottle.

The drink, he claimed, had a different taste from alcohol, which he blamed for his woes.

"It had a different taste from my Ciroc. At around 3 p.m. I blacked out and slept on the couch for more than an hour. I was feeling strange when I woke up past 5 p.m; everyone was naked and having pleasure. They convinced me to finish the drink and taste some powder on the table before joining them. It is clear that at some point in the video, I was defensive and telling them about the curfew because I knew it was wrong," Kibet.

At that point, he decided to vacate his house for Harriet and the other three guys and spent the night in the next apartment. He also recalled how he met Harriet before the whole saga unfolded.

"I have been brought up in a Christian family. I have never done such a thing in my entire life. I have known Harriet since 2018 when we met at a club in Eldoret. She was with her husband and since I was seated close by, we exchanged contacts. We started communicating and in no time, she added me into a raunchy WhatsApp group and started asking me to meet her for drinks. But I had not found the time yet.

"After the saga, I received a text from one of the guys telling me to send him fare. He also asked me to send him Ksh 210,000 or he would leak my nudes. I shared this with my wife and she advised me to pay them, but in the process of looking for the cash, the video was already trending. I called Harriet but she joked about us deserving a share of the Ksh 100 million President Uhuru Kenyatta had promised artistes since we had entertained Kenyans," the African Inland Church faithful opened up.

He went on to undergo HIV test with his wife who he also disclosed forgave him for his escapade.

"I regret meeting Harriet. I'm not sure Satan played a role in the whole act, there must have been something in the drinks I took. I didn't use protection and that is why I went to the hospital with my spouse," he disclosed.

On April Friday,10, Harriet's sister recorded a video in which she lamented at how the viral woman had heart-broken their mother and how she also had distanced herself from her family.
