Citizen TV journalist Trevor Ombija could not hide his excitement after watching a video clip of kids reenacting the Ramogi TV launch.

In a Tweet on his official Twitter account on Monday, December 6, the TV journalist celebrated the team of five children for their creativity as their video had gone viral.

Ombija went ahead to state that he would buy for the kids brand new suits adding that all he would wish for during the festive season while growing up was clothes to wear on Christmas day.

Additionally, the news anchor urged the public to help him get hold of the talented children since their identity was not revealed.

"This made me so happy today. I remember back in the day before Christmas all I wanted was a set of new clothes. I will buy all the kids in this Ramogi TV rendition suits or a gift of equivalent value for Christmas as a thank you gift. Please help me find them before Christmas," Ombija expressed.

In the video, one of the kids can be seen imitating the news anchor as he introduced viewers to the new Ramogi studio and the team that would anchor news at the vernacular station.

"Wise men stated that a country is only built by stories. Luos have waited for the opportunity of joining the national conversation. From today, the help has come to the Luo nation, we welcome you to your new home where help brings growth where we can find hope and show love. Ramogi TV is our home. Welcome,” read the opening statement by Ombija during the launch.

The kids were also creative as they also created a replica of the studio set-up including equipment such as TV screens and a newsroom table from bed sheets and cardboard.

Ombija got wind of the video after Kenyans took to social media tagging him and the new station to take notice of the talented children. Consequently, other users have also thanked Ombija for his noble gesture.

"These young ones are very creative. Show them some love by retweeting till it gets to Ombija and Ramogi TV," Olivia Mwenesi stated.

Ramogi TV was launched on Monday, November 29 by Royal Media Services (RMS) in an event that was full of flamboyance.

During the launch which was aired on Citizen TV at 6:30 pm, Ombija introduced the station's news anchors as they embarked from a black limousine.
