Joey Muthengi is set to make a TV comeback nearly three years after she announced her departure from Citizen TV.
Muthengi who anchored news and co-hosted 10 over 10 entertainment show on Citizen TV alongside Willis Raburu, is joining KTN Home, one of the outlets owned by the Standard Group.
At the station, the presenter will be hosting a health and grooming programme known as The Skin Therapy Show. It will focus on lifestyle and healthy living.
The family show will be airing every Sunday starting from 4:30 pm.
Announcing her debut on KTN Home, Joey appealed to her fans to watch her new show.
"Join us as we give you health and grooming tips that will have you living your best life, don't miss out," Joey announced.
In 2018, KTN Home revealed plans to repackage the show to have mass appeal with Sharon Chepkoech Wambete being the host.
"To our wonderful audience and our partners, The Skin Therapy Show, we are repackaging the show for more engaging, informative and interesting content," KTN announced.
Muthengi left Royal Media Services (RMS) in November 2018. Announcing her departure, Joey broke down on TV as a part of the on-set audience walked to the stage for a goodbye hug.
"For those asking where I am headed; I am going to the club tonight, I will take some time to relax and recuperate. I think I deserve that. There will be a lot of travelling starting with my Machakos County...It is not a goodbye, but I just say see you later," she told her fans.
She made an entry into Media through, Capital FM where she hosted Hits Not Homework show between 2009 to 2013.
She pursued a Communication and Business Management course in the U.S before returning to the country where she kick-started her career.
She also hosted season 6 of a musical show dubbed Tusker Project Fame on Citizen TV.
