Boni Khalwale's Nephew Dies in USA

Yul Brian Khalwale Ashiono- nephew of Kakamega Senator, Boni Khalwale died in a road accident after the vehicle caught fire on Federal Way in the United States of America (USA).

In a statement issued by the senator, his nephew was the son of his late brother, Captain Gaeb Ashiono Khalwale. 

Khalwale mourned the sudden demise of the 37-year-old, noting that efforts were made for the family to unite and meet for burial preparations. 

"Saddened to mourn Yul Brian Khalwale Ashiono, 37, son of my late brother Capt. Gaeb Ashiono Khalwale, who died in a road accident on Federal Way in the USA."

"Friends and relatives are meeting under the efforts of Joe Mwangi, Stella Maritim, Mary Bwire and North West Community as we mourn," Boni Khalwale stated. 

Reports filed by Federal Way police on Thursday, November 10, indicated that the deceased was killed in a car fire minutes before 7.00 pm. 

According to Commander Kurt Schwan, the incident was reported at the 2600 block of South 298th Street.

Firefighters who rushed to the scene managed to extinguish the fire but found the charred remains of a deceased male in the passenger's seat of the vehicle. 

"Just before 7 p.m South King Fire and Rescue personnel and Federal Way officers responded to a vehicle fire in the 2600 block of South 298th Street."

"Upon extinguishing the fire, officials found the remains of a deceased male in the passenger seat of the vehicle," the commander stated. At the time, the male body was yet to be identified.

The commander affirmed that the circumstances surrounding the incident were unclear but pointed out that preliminary information did not suggest the fire was intentionally set. 

The tragic demise came after another fatal collision had occurred along Federal Highway involving a fuel truck and a personal car.

The road was closed on both sides for hours to allow Fire and Rescue personnel to remove the debris strewn across the area.
