Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho on Sunday caused drama in the coastal town as he jetted back from the United States (US) where he had been for more than two weeks.
The excitement began at the Moi International Airport where hundreds of his supporters clad in ODM-branded material were waiting for him.
Upon his arrival, the procession moved to Akamba Handicrafts, Changamwe constituency where Joho addressed the crowd, downplaying concerns of a possible ODM nomination fiasco.
