Likoni Member of Paliament (MP) Mwalimu Masudi Mwahima was criticised by Kenyans on social media, after a picture of him carrying a brown envelop outside Mombasa State House emerged.
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) lawmaker was dubbed a rebel with some saying that he had been 'bought' by Jubilee.
According to ODM Alert Media, Masoud was given a handosme amount to ferry youth to a meeting President Uhuru Kenyatta would be holding in Likoni.
The legislator was however, applauded by others stating that it was about time he realised that the Opposition would take him nowhere.
This comes at a time when Jubilee is reported to woo ODM leaders from the region. Last week, five CORD MPs from the Coast vowed to jump ship and join the Jubilee Party as their new political vehicle.
The legislators include Lunga Lunga MP Suleiman Mwashetani, Peter Shehe of Ganze, Salim Mustafa of Kilifi South, James Kamoti of Rabai constituency and Kilifi North lawmaker Gideon Mung'aro.
