Nairobi Expressway Announces Jobs: Requirements & How to Apply

Nairobi Expressway has announced 50 vacancies for a new sales and marketing team that will be responsible for promoting the Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) service. 

In a notice issued on Monday, October 10, the applicants will be required to promote the ETC service as a brand new way of making payments and traveling on the 27.1-kilometre elevated road.

The notice added that if successful, the applicants will have to use their extensive experience to promote ETC as a one-of-a-kind technology.

The deadline for the application is Saturday, October 15. 

"We are establishing a sales and marketing team for the promotion of ETC as a brand new way of making payments and traveling on the Nairobi Expressway, a technology that has never been seen in the country before," read part of the notice. 

Their tasks will include promoting the ETC service, subscribing new ETC users based on a monthly target, answering queries from customers as well as other responsibilities that will be assigned by the supervisor.

Skill & Experience

The applicants are required to have sales and marketing experience from 1-5 years and should be highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales. 

The candidate should possess customer service skills and be persistent, determined, flexible and open to change.

Other skills needed for the job include the ability to work well with others, the ability to use one's initiative, be thorough and pay attention to detail as well as excellent verbal communication skills.

Click on the Careers tab. 

Under the Sales and marketing section, click Apply Now

You will be directed to the careers page, fill in your personal details, professional and academic qualifications, experience, file attachments, referees and any other relevant information.

Once done, click on Submit. 

The superhighway has been in operation since it was opened on a trial basis on May 14, 2022. The Ksh88 billion expressway was later officially launched on July 31, 2022, by retired president Uhuru Kenyatta.
