The journalist-turned-entrepreneur ventured into agribusiness in 2013 after he unexpectedly lost his TV job. 

As a journalist, Karuga was earning less than Ksh100,000 per month but two years after venturing into poultry farming, he was making close to Ksh1 million. 

Muthoni the Drama Queen

Muthoni Ndonga alias Muthoni the Drummer Queen, is a musician and one of the most successful event organisers in Kenya.

She has had a successful career in the Kenyan music industry where she has released countless hits spanning various genres including Nai ni Ya WhoSuzie Noma, Power, African Fever and Vile Inafaa.

Dorcas Rigathi

Okiya Omtatah

In 2023, he made headlines for opposing and filing a case against the Finance Act, 2023 which culminated in the High Court declaring the Housing Levy unconstitutional.

Eric Omondi

Eric Omondi, is a comedian event emcee and activist. He has leveraged his platform to advocate for policies aimed at improving the lives of Kenyans.

On 30th November 2024, the comedian-turned-activist and philanthropist won the Celebrity Champion of the Year award at the NGO Awards. He also received the National Council of Community-Based Organisations’ Humanitarian of the Year award.

Kimani Ichung’wah

National Assembly Majority Leader and Kikuyu Member of Parliament Kimani Ichung’wah is currently one of the most prominent politicians in the country, enjoying the privileged status of having a direct line to President William Ruto. 

Ichung’wah joined politics in 2013 after he was elected as MP via a The National Alliance (TNA) ticket.

In the 2017 general elections, he made history as the first Member of Parliament to be elected unopposed under the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.

Her role as the Managing Director at the World Resources Institute and chief Advisor at the Bezos Earth Fund, allows her to mobilise for funding to help mitigate the adverse effects of climate on vulnerable regions.

His influence extends to every corner of the country, resonating with audiences of all ages, including children, attesting to his unparalleled prowess in the craft.

Brian Ole Karbolo

Brian is a nurse at the Garissa Referral Hospital.

He is a medical practitioner who values humanity. He has cultivated a name for himself for always going the extra mile to help patients including thinking of innovative ways to help those who live in far-flung areas.

Ole Karbolo is also a specialist in wound care which means he has been able to give specialised medical care to patients in need of urgent attention.

Brian studied at the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) in Garissa County before eventually getting employed as a nurse.
