Carlos Mureithi

 

Carlos Mureithi is a journalist working as the Africa Climate & Environment Correspondent for The Associated Press (AP).

Based in Nairobi, Mureithi is a widely experienced journalist who has worked with mainstream media companies both locally and internationally throughout his career.

Before joining AP, Mureithi worked as the Africa correspondent for The Christian Science Monitor.

Raphael Munavu

Professor Munavu is an experienced professional with a career spanning 35 years in the education sector and public service.

He is, however, most popular for having been appointed the Chairperson of the Presidential Working Party of Education Reforms by President William Ruto in September 2022.

Hanifa Farsafi

Hanifa Farsafi Adan is an influencer primarily on the social media platform X, an activist and a social commentator

She mostly focuses on social issues affecting society which has forced government officials to fix recurring problems.

Most notably, in 2023 she trained the spotlight on the broken drainage system in Korogocho slums which was posing a serious health risk to residents.

Jane Karuku

Jane Karuku is a captain of industry and a business leader with over 20 years of experience in management across diverse sectors.

She is the current Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the East Africa Breweries Limited (EABL), a position she has held since 2021.

Crystal Asige

Crystal Asige is a Nominated Senator and singer who is known for her music and for advocating for the rights of the youth and persons living with disability both within the precincts of Parliament and outside.

Asige is also a diversity equity and inclusion consultant, public speaker, disability rights advocate, and inclusive mobility practitioner.

Asige herself is a person living with disability having lost her eyesight in her teens due to glaucoma.

Edwin Sifuna

Edwin Sifuna is a Nairobi-based lawyer who is the current Nairobi Senator.

Heading to the 2022 general election, Hussein Mohammed was appointed as the head of communications for then-Deputy President William Ruto's presidential campaign.

As the State House Spokesperson, Mohamed has been involved in representing President William Ruto and the government on various matters. For example, he recently spoke about Kenya's big win at COP28, highlighting the country's achievements at the conference.
