George Magoha

Prof George Magoha is the immediate former Cabinet Secretary for Education. 

He is a Professor of Surgery and a Consultant Urologist.

The former CS has been recognised as being instrumental in the implementation of the Competency-Based Curriculum which was introduced by former President Uhuru Kenyatta's administration in 2017.

Farida Karoney

Farida Karoney is the Cabinet Secretary (CS) for Lands and Physical Planning. 

She was instrumental in effecting the digital changes at the Lands Ministry through the launch of Ardhi Sasa - the National Land Information Management System (NLIMS) in April 2021. 

George Magoha

George Magoha is the current Cabinet Secretary in the Ministry of Education. 

Born in 1952, Magoha is a Kenyan consultant surgeon, academic administrator, and technocrat of good standing.

George Magoha

George Magoha was sworn in as Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Education, on March 26, 2019.  He is a Professor of Transplant Surgery.

Before his appointment as Cabinet Secretary, Magoha was the Chairman of the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) where he served from March 09, 2016 to March 08, 2019. He was also an Honorary Consultant Surgeon and Urologist at Kenyatta National Hospital and Nairobi Hospital.

Amina Mohamed

Ambassador Amina Mohamed is a Kenyan lawyer, diplomat and politician. She is presently serving as the Cabinet Secretary for Education and Sports in Kenya. 

She previously served as chairwoman of the International Organization for Migration and the World Trade Organization's General Council, as well as Assistant Secretary-General and Deputy Executive Director of the UNEP.

Cleopha Mailu

Dr. Cleopa Mailu, EBS, holds an MBChB from the University of Nairobi; MSc (Med. Sci) in Genetics from the University of Glasgow and is an alumni of the Strathmore University/ IESE University of Navarra Advanced Management Program.
