- 1:19 pm The government has brought terrorism charges against Peter Kawanjiru and Serah Wanjiku Thiga, both of whom are allies of the former deputy president, Rigathi Gachagua. They are accused of being involved in an arson attack on the Kikuyu Law Courts.
- 12:53 pm Rowdy youths block entrances to Kamukunji Grounds, burning tyres and placing stones on the road. ODM leader Raila Odinga had invited Kenyans to the grounds to mark Saba Saba Day.
