Ndindi Nyoro

The Kiharu MP threw his hat in politics in 2017 under the Jubilee party ticket, winning the seat with a landslide, against his competitor.

Previously, he was an economics graduate from Kenyatta University who was a student leader while at the Institution. He is an entrepreneur with interests in stock brokerage, communication, construction, civil works, water engineering and drilling

Kimani Ichungwa

Ichungwa was first elected as the Kikuyu MP under the TNA party ticket in 2013. He retained his seat in August 2017 under the Jubilee party, becoming the only MP elected unopposed in the 12th parliament.

The MP is a staunch supporter of Deputy President William Ruto and a member of the Tanga Tanga faction. He has on numerous occasions come to the defense of the DP.

Alfred Mutua

Mutua is the governor of Machakos County since 2013 and the Party Leader of Maendeleo Chap Chap. 

The former Government Spokesperson has a BA in Journalism from Whitworth College in the United States and an MSc in Communication from Eastern Washington University. He also received his doctorate in Communication and Media from the University of Western Sydney in Australia.

Amason Kingi

Amason Kingi is the first and current governor of Kilifi County. He was elected to office in 2013 and successfully defended his seat in 2017 via the ODM ticket. 

Prior to his election as a governor, he was the Minister for Fisheries Development between 2010 to March 2013. He has also served as the Minister for the East African community between 2008 and 2010. 

Josephat Nanok

Nanok is the current governor of Turkana County and a member of the ODM party. He was elected to the office via the party ticket in 2017 - and defended a seat he won in 2013. 

He also served as the Chairman of Kenya's Council of Governors (COG) from May 2017 to January 2019. 

Kivutha Kibwana

Kivutha Kibwana is the Governor of Makueni County and the party leader of the Muungano Party. 

He is also a professional lawyer, with a Bachelor's Degree in Law from the University of Nairobi. Kibwana also holds degrees in International Law and a Master in Theological Studies. 

Martin Wambora

He is the governor of Embu County, a seat he won on a TNA (The National Alliance) ticket in 2013 and successfully defended via the Jubilee ticket in 2017. He has survived four impeachment attempts in his career. 

Wambora previously served as the Chairman of the board of Kenya Airports Authority (KPA) before venturing into politics in 2013. 

Gideon Moi

Gideon Kipsiele Moi is the Senator for Baringo County and the Chairman of the independence Party – Kanu. He is the last born child of Kenya's second President Daniel arap Moi.

His family picked him as the successor to their late father’s political heritage. In the Senate, he is currently serving his second term and also chairs the Senate’s powerful committee on energy.

Wycliffe Oparanya

Oparanya is the current governor of Kakamega County serving his last term after being reelected in 2017. He is also the immediate former Chairman of the Council of Governor’s (COG), a position he handed over to Embu Governor Martin Wambora on January 29, 2021. 

Oparanya is a certified public accountant and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
