NASA Leader Summoned Over Remarks on President Uhuru Kenyatta

National Super Alliance (NASA) Homa Bay Woman Representative Gladys Wanga has been summoned over remarks made against President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The National Cohesion and Integration Commision (NCIC) will on Friday question the NASA leader for having spoken against the President and his deputy William Ruto.

Ms Wanga is said to have accused the President and his deputy of spreading cholera in a speech she made on September 25.

The letter dated October 4 informed the Woman Representative that a complaint had been lodged against her, quoting the precise comments.

The letter further warned the vocal NASA leader that failure to honour the summons would be a violation of the law.

Ms Wanga is part of the Nyanza NASA campaign team that is charged with campaigning for presidential candidate Raila Odinga.

The team has been making preparations ahead of a scheduled campaign blitz in the region over the weekend.

The campaigns will begin with a special prayer rally in Kisumu.
