Kenyans were on Wednesday engaged in various heated discussions concerning topics that had made their way to the top of Twitter's trends of the day.

A specific reply shared on KTN News anchor Betty Kyallo's tweet was circulated on most of the trends as one of her followers tried to explain what "KDF buns" are.

The three topics topped Twitter trends as netizens followed the developing story of Murang'a county Members of County Assembly (MCAs) who engaged in a physical fight for a second time.

Majority Leader Eric Kamande and his rival, Kimorori Wempa MCA Amos Murigi, were the source of the fracas as the two fought over the majority leader's post.

The two were suspended by the Jubilee Party from leadership positions following their initial fight and trended on Wednesday as they were arraigned in court.
