Governor Hassan Joho Unveils New Partnership With Billionaire Chris Kirubi

Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho on Wednesday divulged that he had entered into a partnership with billionaire entrepreneur Chris Kirubi

Posting on his Twitter page, the County boss revealed that Kirubi's Centum Investments is currently undertaking a mega investment project at the Coast. 

"Happy to meet my good friend Chris Kirubi in great spirit. I wish him well. The mega investment that Centum Investment is undertaking at the Coast is highly welcome," Joho stated.

Additionally, Mr Kirubi reiterated Joho's sentiments expressing his enthusiasm for investing in and developing the Coastal region.

"It was a pleasure meeting you my friend Hassan Ali Joho. I look forward to our continued partnership in developing and investing in the Coastal region.

"When we work together, great things happen!" the billionaire, who has been undergoing treatment, affirmed. 

Kirubi is reportedly interested in the development and growth of the Coastal region as he even has a home in Kilifi Town. 

Earlier in June, the County boss paid him (Kirubi) a courtesy call in his Kilifi home, days after he flew back into the country from the United States where he was receiving treatment.

Kirubi announced of Joho's visit at his home adding: "He came to wish me well as I continue to recuperate. We discussed matters of national interest, in particular, nation building, investment & fostering cooperation. #AskKirubi."

In the recent past, governor Joho has been meeting several investors both local and international in a quest to develop and grow the Coastal region as well as improve its tourism markets.
