"We cannot divulge any information right now until we release the trailer but he has landed a show at NTV and it will be a comedy show.

"We are proud that his star is continuing to shine," Nyawira played cagey with the details of the show.

Ever since making a breakthrough in comedy, Njugush's has been making progress in his career and has become one of the most followed comedians on social media with over 1.5 million followers.

In 2016, the comedian quit The Real Househelps of Kawangware (TRHK) show, then on KTN (now airs on NTV).

The scriptwriter together with his wife, Celestine Ndinda, also started a company dubbed Njugush Creatives, which runs commercial advertisements through digital comedy.

Ever since he quit TV, his fans have been pressurising him to stage a comeback and the comedian heeded to the calls by launching Maisha Magic's Andakava show, and now his new NTV show.

"Njugush welcome back to TV," Phil Karanja, one of top Kenya producers tweeted.
