Sharon Mundia

Founder fashion and lifestyle blog called "This IS Ess". The blog is dedicated to sharing her unique fashion sense.

Although she started it as a fun hobby right out of college, it has since grown in leaps and bounds bagging a number of awards in the process.

In 2014, " This Is Ess" was crowned the Best Fashion Blog award by Bloggers Association of Kenya (BAKE) award. In 2018 her website caught the eye of Capital FM and has been creating digital content for the Nairobi based station to date.

Margaret Kenyatta

Margaret Kenyatta is the First Lady of the Republic of Kenya.

Her Excellency supports and is the patron of numerous social concerns. On a regional front, The First Lady is a strong advocate and active member of the African Union Organisation of First Ladies for African (OAFLA), the umbrella initiative against HIV and Aids, and the Campaign for Accelerated Reduction of Maternal Mortality –CARMA. She is also actively involved in the struggle against cervical cancer.

Ngugi wa Thiong'o

He was considered for the 2019 Peace Prize for his literary works; "Decolonising the Mind: The Politics of Language in African Literature."

He is regarded as one of the most important voices in African literature. His essays, collected in his anthology Decolonising the Mind, determine the discussion of the continuing consequences of the colonisation of Africa to this day. 

Prophet Owuor

Prophet David Owuor is the founder of the Ministry of Holiness and Repentance.

A widely acclaimed Prophet, Dr Owuor’s rise to the world stage started in the humble village of Goma, Bondo.

Born in 1966 to Hezekiah and Margaret Ochieng, Owuor is the second born in a family of nine - six girls and three boys.

He schooled at Wambasa Primary, Yimbo, before transferring to Jusa in Siaya.

Owuor then crossed the border to Uganda courtesy of his father’s work transfer and attended Luzira and Kitalya respectively.

Elizabeth Wanjiru Wathuti

Elizabeth Wanjiru Wathuti is a 23-year-old change-maker from Kenya who has her expertise and passion in sustainability, environmental conservation and community development.

She is a recipient of Wangari Maathai Scholarship award for her outstanding passion and commitment to environmental conservation which dates back to her childhood.

David Oginde

David Oginde is instrumental in religious and family matters championing for good morals.

Fostered good and ethical morals among Kenyans who worship in his church.

Patrick Njoroge

Born in 1961, Patrick Ngugi Njoroge is an economist, banker and the governor of the Central Bank of Kenya.

He attended Mangu High School from 1973 until 1976, for his O-Level education.

From 1977 until 1978, he attended Strathmore College for his A-Level studies.

He entered the University of Nairobi in 1979, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 1983 and a Masters of Arts in Economics in 1985. From 1987 until 1993, he studied at Yale University, graduating with a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics.

Janet Mbugua

Hailing from the coastal side of Kenya, County 001, Janet Mbugua started off her career in media at the age of 19 at 98.4 Capital FM. She made her debut as a news anchor, reporter and producer for a show called 'Africa 360' on ETv in Johannesburg, South Africa. Moreover, Broadcast Journalism was not her only passion, Janet made her debut as an actress by appearing in a sitcom called RUSH.

Julie Gichuru

Julie Gichuru is an entrepreneur and African media personality. Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Arimus Media Limited, a production house focused on quality African content, and Mimi holdings limited, a fashion retail business.



Julie conceptualized and hosts the Africa Leadership Dialogues, a syndicated current affairs program with a focus on African development and growth.

Joseph Kinyua

Mr. Kinyua's career began in 1978 as an assistant lecturer at the University of Nairobi. He joined the Central Bank of Kenya in 1980 as an Economist and rose to the rank of Director of Research. Between 1985 and 1990, he worked as an economist with the International Monetary Fund before returning back to the Central Bank of Kenya.
