Sudi's nightclub was among several properties affiliated with members of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) which were destroyed yesterday by angry protestors.
Residents were opposed to the MP's decision to vote in favour of the bill arguing that it was set to increase the cost of living for a majority of Kenyans.
Besides this group of Kenyans, there is a section of MPs who are supporting the bill led by Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung'wah and his Molo counterpart Kuria Kimani.
Demonstrations opposing the controversial bill are ongoing across the country and police officers have been deployed to ensure peace and order is maintained.
