Amina Mohamed

Ambassador Amina Mohamed is a Kenyan lawyer, diplomat and politician. She is presently serving as the Cabinet Secretary for Education and Sports in Kenya. 

She previously served as chairwoman of the International Organization for Migration and the World Trade Organization's General Council, as well as Assistant Secretary-General and Deputy Executive Director of the UNEP.

Mumbi Ngugi

Born in Banana Hill, Kiambu, Justice Ngugi attended Thimbigua Primary School she passed well after gaining 35 out of 36 points and was admitted to Ngandu Girls’ High School in Nyeri. She is the co-founder of the Albinism Foundation of East Africa.

Her story is a reflection of a good fight marked with resilience and determination. Mumbi was appointed a High Court judge in 2011 and has since made history. 

Sharon Mundia

Founder fashion and lifestyle blog called "This IS Ess". The blog is dedicated to sharing her unique fashion sense.

Although she started it as a fun hobby right out of college, it has since grown in leaps and bounds bagging a number of awards in the process.

In 2014, " This Is Ess" was crowned the Best Fashion Blog award by Bloggers Association of Kenya (BAKE) award. In 2018 her website caught the eye of Capital FM and has been creating digital content for the Nairobi based station to date.

Margaret Kenyatta

Margaret Kenyatta is the First Lady of the Republic of Kenya.

Her Excellency supports and is the patron of numerous social concerns. On a regional front, The First Lady is a strong advocate and active member of the African Union Organisation of First Ladies for African (OAFLA), the umbrella initiative against HIV and Aids, and the Campaign for Accelerated Reduction of Maternal Mortality –CARMA. She is also actively involved in the struggle against cervical cancer.

Elizabeth Wanjiru Wathuti

Elizabeth Wanjiru Wathuti is a 23-year-old change-maker from Kenya who has her expertise and passion in sustainability, environmental conservation and community development.

She is a recipient of Wangari Maathai Scholarship award for her outstanding passion and commitment to environmental conservation which dates back to her childhood.

Brenda Mulinya Wanga is a celebrated reporter working at NTV Kenya.

She has years of experience after joining the industry at a very young age.

Brenda is married to footballer Allan Wanga, who plays for AFC Leopards.

 

Silvia Chebet

Sylvia Chebet is a TV journalist who works for Citizen TV which is under Royal Media Services.

Silvia landed her own health show called Heartbeat, which got a slot on prime time TV to tell stories on vital health issues. 

Heartbeat’s first episode featured a story on multi-drug resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB). 

Zinzi Kibiku

Zindzi Kibiku is a news reporter at KTN News. During the day Zindzi hosts a segment known as “What’s Trending” on East Africa’s first 24-hour news channel KTN News.

The segment digs into online platforms sharing popular stories and hashtags that generate top trends in Kenya and around the world.

She also hosts "Youth Cafe" on KTNNews with Brian Aseli.
