Jeddidah Thotho

She is the head of Bata Shoe Kenya PLC — the country’s largest footwear company.  Thotho’s role is overseeing 3,000 employees and about 150 stores in the country. 

She is Bata Kenya’s first female CEO since it began its operations in 1939.

Catherine Adeya

Catherine Adeya serves as the Director of Research at the World Wide Web Foundation. 

Most recently, she led the development of the East Africa Centre for Internet Governance and Policy (CIGAP) at the renowned Strathmore University in Nairobi.

James Mwangi

Dr James Mwangi is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Equity Bank, the largest bank (by customer base) in East Africa with more than seven million customers across Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, Rwanda and Tanzania.

Mwangi also serves as Chairman of the Equity Group Foundation, which is the CSR arm of the Equity Group.
