  • Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i on Tuesday surprised Kenyans after he unexpectedly announced the results of the 2017 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination results.

    Under the topic Education CS Fred Matiang'i as well as the hashtags #KCPEResults and #KCPE2017Results, social media users heaped praises on the CS with many asking President Uhuru Kenyatta to reward the CS with more responsibilities, especially in the health docket.

    Dr Matiang'i announced that there were zero reported incidents of malpractice for the whole duration of the exam.
