Omanga was addressing allegations that she does not have a cordial relationship with Babu following claims that she had been attacking the legislator on social media platforms.

However, she came out to clarify that the accounts that were being used to propagate that animosity were not her original accounts.

The parody account had alleged that she clashed with Babu after she told the legislator to respect Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i, calling Babu "a small boy".

In the interview, Omanga noted: "We politicians are friends irrespective of where we come from. We love one another despite our political positions."

Additionally, she urged all Kenyans to embrace the sense of brotherhood and live together as a family.

Ms Omanga mentioned that in as much as she always receives backlash on social media regarding her weight and political views, she never takes them personally.

Speaking on the pact made by President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila Odinga, Ms Omanga stated: "Raila Odinga has set straight the record that it’s time we united and helped the President deliver his big Four agenda for Kenyans."
