Bikozulu

Jackson Biko is a Kenyan writer who used to write for the Business Daily, True Love magazine and The Saturday Nation.

He also edits Msafiri Magazine and Safaricom Foundation’s Msingi Magazine.

Biko is also a multiple award-winning lifestyle writer under the name Bikozulu and a social media influencer.

He writes exclusively for a living and in 2015 he was named one of the Top 40 Under 40 men in Kenya.

Hussein Mohamed

Hussein Mohamed is a renown media personality who was a news anchor at Citizen TV for 10 years, before leaving the Royal Media Services-owned broadcaster in October 2019.

He joined Citizen TV in 2008 and saw his career grow as he went on to become a news anchor and a top-rated political show host. 

He hosted News Night on Tuesdays and previously together with Janet Mbugua hosted The Big Question on Monday’s 9 p.m.

Eric Omondi

Eric Omondi is a stand-up comedian and a brand ambassador and an event emcee.

He broke into the limelight in 2008, when he made an appearance on TV show Churchill Live

In 2015, he left the show, run by Daniel Ndambuki, to start his own brand of comedy.

He studied at Kondele Primary School and later joined Kisumu Boys High School for his secondary education. He joined Daystar University for Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication and Journalism.

He worked at NTV for 2 weeks before joining Churchill show. 

Mutula Kilonzo JR

Born in 1975. He is a member and vice-chair of the Wiper Democratic Movement, Kenya and was elected as the second Senator of Makueni County on the WDM-K ticket in a by-election in July 2013, after the demise of his father Mutula Kilonzo and is currently serving his second term since his election in August 2017.

Following in the footsteps of his late father, the young senator grabbed the headlines for his no-nonsense approach when it comes to interrogating top government officials linked to corrupt dealings.

Eliud Kipchoge

At 40 years old, Eliud Kipchoge, the world’s greatest marathoner, continues to excel both on and off the track. Having won 15 out of the 20 marathons he has competed in, his influence transcends sport.

In 2024, the "No Human Is Limited" advocate was named a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Sports, Integrity, and Values.

Although he did not finish the marathon at the Paris 2024 Olympics, Kipchoge remains a legend in the world of sport as one of only three men to win the Olympic marathon twice.

Mumbi Ngugi

Born in Banana Hill, Kiambu, Justice Ngugi attended Thimbigua Primary School she passed well after gaining 35 out of 36 points and was admitted to Ngandu Girls’ High School in Nyeri. She is the co-founder of the Albinism Foundation of East Africa.

Her story is a reflection of a good fight marked with resilience and determination. Mumbi was appointed a High Court judge in 2011 and has since made history. 

Geoffrey Omondi

Geoffrey Omondi is the Head of Monitoring and evaluation at the Aga Khan Health Services

He is also the Project Consultant for Zest For Life

In April 2019, he was feted by WHO after his health app was picked among the best globally.

 

Anthony Muthungu

Anthony is the Chief Executive Officer at TotoSci Ltd.

He is also the Group CEO at TotoSci Academy aiming to create interest for children in Science and mathematics

Anthony received recognition during Transformational Business Awards, special category Innovating for disability by FT/IFC in London UK.

He also won the German African Sustainability Innovation on Health.

Simon Kabu

Simon Kabu is the founder and CEO of Bonfire Adventures, a Tour and Travel company he started in 2008 with just KSh 20,000. The company has expanded to nine offices and employs about 200 people.

On June 17, 2017. Born Fire Adventures won the World Travel Awards as Africa's leading tour company.

On May 9, 2019. Bonfire Adventures was crowned the best Honeymoon travels and tours agent at Kenya Wedding Awards 2019. Born Fire Adventures was also named Kenya's Leading Travel Agency in 2019. A title they have won for four consecutive years now.

 

Sharon Mundia

Founder fashion and lifestyle blog called "This IS Ess". The blog is dedicated to sharing her unique fashion sense.

Although she started it as a fun hobby right out of college, it has since grown in leaps and bounds bagging a number of awards in the process.

In 2014, " This Is Ess" was crowned the Best Fashion Blog award by Bloggers Association of Kenya (BAKE) award. In 2018 her website caught the eye of Capital FM and has been creating digital content for the Nairobi based station to date.
